What type of Escape Room player are you?

I read a Reddit post on escape rooms today that must be shared.  The group was talking about the different ‘types’ of escape room players.  Funny…and kinda true.

I added some thought below and included the Reddit link at the end.

Which one are you?

Lunatic: The lunatic often imagines that objects in the room are making subtle and obscure references to a pattern just beyond perception. To the lunatic, figuring out the room feels like trying to remember a recent dream -- it's coming to him, any minute now, he thinks...

The Director:  Shepherds the group and assumes a leadership role.  General Patton is in the house!

The Solver:  If you have to do a math equation or a maze, the Solver is right there putting in the hard work and getting down to the nitty gritty.  This is also the friend that divides your group check down to the cent for a party of ten.

Sabotager: Finds a key and puts it in her pocket instead of telling the rest of the group.  'Nuf said.

The Explorer:  This person looks under the rug and the tables, notices that the clock is set to a certain time (hopefully it's a clue!) and that these two floorboards creak when you stand on them.  Sound like anyone's inlaws?

The Organizer: Keeps all the relevant props together, takes notes, does things like making sure that used keys are in their locks and are kept out of the way.  This is natural state for any woman who is married or has children.

Time-waster: Insists that the numbers in a random book somehow add up the code to a combination lock. The other players spend five minutes proving that he’s wrong.  This person is usually wearing a “The Yeti Exists” or “Area 51” T-shirt.

After deep reflection, I decided I’m 50% Director, 30% Solver, 20% Lunatic.  What are you?
